SITS Consultancy Support for

Summer School

The Challenge

Regent’s set out to transform its Summer School delivery model from a small number of fixed pathways into a more flexible, modular structure.

This introduced several challenges:

  • Translating a short-course, block-based model into SITS programme, route and module structures

  • Managing multiple international student categories, each with different eligibility and fee logic

  • Encoding complex rules around module combinations and placement pathways

  • Updating application forms, offer letters and enrolment processes to reflect the new structure

  • Delivering all configuration, testing and rollout within immovable academic and visa deadlines

  • The university required specialist SITS consultancy support that combined both technical configuration expertise and a strong understanding of admissions and programme design.

The Solution

PS edtech delivered a complete SITS configuration to support the new Summer School model, including:

  • Modular programme architecture supporting 3-week and 6-week academic blocks

  • Configuration of pathways covering academic-only and academic plus placement routes

  • Implementation of module selection rules, including validation of valid and invalid combinations

  • Support for multiple international student categories with distinct fee and sponsorship logic

  • Enhanced application forms capturing module and pathway selections

  • Updated application links, offer letters and enrolment processes

  • Automated creation of module enrolment records

  • Full documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Our Approach

PS edtech provided time-bound consultancy support, working closely with the International Office, Admissions, Registry and IT/SITS teams.

Delivery followed a structured, collaborative model:

  • Rapid mobilisation and alignment on programme structure, rules and requirements

  • Sprint-based configuration with regular check-ins and iterative refinement

  • Close collaboration with functional and technical stakeholders across the university

  • Continuous validation through testing and feedback loops

This approach ensured progress remained aligned to deadlines while maintaining clarity across all stakeholders.

This success was driven by a truly collaborative approach, with regular check-ins and excellent teamwork with our Regent’s IT colleagues. The turnaround was impressively quick without ever compromising on quality, and we are happy with the result and the professionalism shown throughout.
