As the apprenticeship landscape continues to evolve, Skills Federation invited training providers, assessment organisations, and sector leaders to share their perspectives and help shape the future of apprenticeship delivery and assessment.
In collaboration with the team at PS edtech, they have commissioned independent research to explore how the sector is preparing for the forthcoming apprenticeship reforms.
Why Your Input Matters for the Upcoming Apprenticeship Reforms
This is a pivotal moment for the skills system. Your feedback will directly inform Skills Federation’s policy response and their ongoing work to support high-quality, compliant delivery.
The findings will help shape:
Future recommendations to policymakers and government
Guidance and resources for training providers and awarding organisations
Development of new support services and digital tools, including ACE360
By taking part, you’ll help ensure that sector voices drive the design and delivery of reforms - making sure policy works in practice as well as in principle.
What the Research Covers
The survey explored how organisations are preparing for reform across key operational areas, including:
Assessment processes and reform alignment
Flexible, AO-led assessment models
Quality assurance and internal quality assurance (IQA)
Audit and regulatory readiness (Ofqual)
On-programme and centre-led assessment
Gateway and completion processes
These insights will help identify what’s working well, where challenges remain, and what support providers need most during the transition period.
All participants who complete the survey will receive an exclusive summary of anonymised findings - allowing you to benchmark your organisation’s policy readiness against others across the sector.
It’s a valuable opportunity to contribute evidence that informs national discussions while gaining practical insight to support your own organisational planning.
